Ah ha ha ha Happy Halloween!

This was probably the best Halloween ever. I slept in. Till 10:00. Heaven. Then I woke up to muffins and apple juice in bed and two little boys modeling my clothes I had folded the night before. I think they look pretty good in my clothes.

Then magically after a day of lazing around and watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, they transformed into Superheroes!

They then ran around the neighborhood getting ready with all the other superheroes that had invaded our neighborhood.

When it came time to Trick-or-treat though, Sam found himself a pretty princess to spend his time with. That is one smart superhero...

Pretty much a perfect Halloween.

You Have Been BOO'd!

The air is cool, the season is fall, Soon Halloween will come to all.

Ghosts and goblins, spooks galore... Tricky witches at your door.

The spooks are after things to do, In fact, a spook brought this "BOO" to you.

The excitement comes when friends like you, Copy this note and make it two.

We'll all have smiles on our faces, When we see who Boo'd who's places.

I was Boo'd by Team Thompson!

The following 4 ladies have been officially BOO'd...

Jessica Carney- My wonderful sister-in-law. Pretty much she possesses every trait I wish I had but haven't been successful at perfecting yet. She's patient, kind, totally invested in everything she does, great at photography, friendly all the time, bubbly and happy. Somehow she doesn't seem to go through mood swings like the rest of us. (Or maybe just me?) Her blog is always inspirational and if I didn't love her so much I just might want to slap her for being so perfect... :)

Teagan Condie- Married my favorite cousin, so I knew right then she had to be cool. Teagan is easy to get along with, happy, beautiful and has a KILLER sense of style. Plus she is a fellow hairdresser so right there we get along! She hasn't been blogging lately (Teagan PLEASE blog again!) but when she does I love all her pictures. Especially because her two little girls have the most beautiful eyes, they are mesmerizing. And I like to live my fantasy of having little girls through her.

Stephanie Mondrut- is my step-cousin. We haven't spent a ton of time together but I love reading her blog. She has a awesome sense of humor and the way she tells things always makes me feel a little better about the silly/annoying things that happen in my life. She embodies funny sarcastic for me and I just LOVE funny sarcastic! I just realized that I don't remember if her blog is private or not and I tried not to include private blogs so if it is, sorry! I wish you could all be entertained by her as I am.

Amanda Warren- a relatively new blogger but a FUNNY one! I actually visiting teach Amanda and she has a great attitude on life and as I am getting to know her better, a great sarcastic sense of humor. I really enjoy her posts because she writes beautifully, adds some funny and tops it off with beautiful pictures. Plus, in real life she is one of the sweetest people I know.

Family Pictures

We had Kim take our pictures again last weekend. I love the arrangement we have. I cut her hair, she takes our pictures. It's awesome. She did a GREAT job again and I am excited to see them all! To take a sneak peek, check out Kim's blog here.

Post-edit: Apparently I shouldn't post late at night because I linked to my Scentsy blog instead of Kim's blog. Sorry guys, really wasn't trying to shamelessly promote myself! It should work now!

Carving night

Every year for FHE we carve pumpkins. Two years ago we invited some friends over as well and that's all Rex could talk about this year. I guess maybe next year we will have to invite friends over again.
Despite 1 rotten pumpkin that we just got last week we had a great time! We made pumpkin suckers, I made Mark clean and carve the good pumpkin and Rex and I painted the rotting one. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa

Mark's parents came to stay with us for a few days last week. One of the fun activities we did was to go check out the Pumpkin Patch, or as Mark and I call it the "Funny farm". Often when we take car rides with the kids and they are driving us crazy we say we are just going to keep driving to the funny farm. Rex thinks that Linder Farms, where the pumpkin patch is, is the funny farm. We aren't going to burst his bubble just yet...
My kids love this place and they especially loved the swings this year, a new attraction. It's just pure joy on their faces.

Playing soccer?

Rex had his last soccer game on Saturday. I am ok with it ending. Watching him twirl around, lay down and catch grasshoppers on the field instead of play soccer was getting to me. I have no problem if my child doesn't like sports or isn't good at them, I was never a team sports player. However when he says he wants to play soccer and I spend almost $100 for him to play and all he does is run around and do things he could be doing for free, I get a little irritated. Nevertheless it was fun to watch and I think the fact that he got a trophy at the end of the season will have him begging to do it again next year. At least he did score 1 goal this season and we got a laugh at his victory boot shake on the field...
A typical site, the teams running around the ball, Rex in his own world! :)

Do you think we bundled Sam up enough?

Mark's parents from California were freezing, I thought it was pretty nice out!

Rex's victory dance!

Getting his trophy

So proud!

Busy doing

For the past couple of weeks I have been busy doing this. As many of you may of heard, I became a Scentsy consultant this month and am really excited for the prospect of this adventure. I have been putting so much time and energy into this project, I am excited to see what it produces. I have come to love Scentsy in the last 6 months and know that anyone who tries it will love it too. The thought of a yummy smelling fragrance in your home without having to light a match is awesome! The scents are so good too.
Enough selling, I hope you all visit my new Scentsy blog, grab my button and follow it because I will be hosting a giveaway soon!!! And remember, tell all your friends! The more referrals you give, the more entries I'll give ya! And as always if you want to order, click on the link on my sidebar!

P.S. I also have Heidi from The Frugal Girls doing a giveaway for me coming up as well! Make sure to follow her so you know when that one is as well. Thanks Heidi!

Happenings around here

This will be a smorgasboard of thoughts. Does that remind you of Charlotte's web? Love that show. Anyway, I have a sick one so I have spent a lot of time around the house lately. Might as well get some projects done right? I saw this cute idea in a magazine a few weeks back and spent about that amount of time trying to find miniature, white pumpkins. Seriously, it was getting annoying! Big white pumpkins are a plenty, miniature yellow pumpkins are a plenty. Even the white with yellow stripy ones are a plenty. Miniature plain white ones, impossible. I finally found a little farm stand that had some! I love how this turned out!
Those are bats if you can't tell from the picture, so the pumpkin bats are flying. Or that's the idea anyway...

Found a cute way to decorate this box I have and love.

Yesterday was a good mail day. Not only did I get my new Scentsy starter kit, but I also got two of the 5 giveaways I have won lately! This is why I do giveaways... I love free stuff. I also won a $50 gift certificate to Tiny Prints! Which means I will get cute Christmas cards for super cheap!!
