I am a fan of Albertson's.
After going on a field trip there this week for Preschool and learning all about healthy food, Sam is a fan now.
Our first trip to the grocery store after his field trip went something like this:
Sam: That's an always food
That's a sometimes food
That's a sometimes food
That's an always food
(you get the idea)
Going past the big display of Coke...
Sam: That's a sometimes food
Me: You're right Sam! Good job!
Sam: But you drink it ALL the time mom.

I am so proud of what I am teaching my children by example. (insert sarcasm)

Some fun pictures

Just wanted to share some fun/funny pictures lately. Some thoughts...

Rex spends about 75% of his time at home in just his underwear. Sorry about that. Must be a guy thing...

Abby is such a great dog! She endures having a baby placed next to her and even sits obediently when I take a picture of her after Rex has dressed her up in a crazy outfit.

Oliver is adorable.

Valentine's day

I didn't get a whole lot of pictures of Valentine's Day but we had a great time here at our house. Sunday evening was spent making sugar cookies and addressing all the boys Valentine's for school. That was a lot of work and Sam only has 10 kids in his class. Rex however had 22 to make and so I had a glimpse of what it'll be like with multiple kids in school. We might have to start a week ahead of time then!
The boys woke up to Valentine's gifts and a kiss out the door to school. Oliver and I headed over to Rex's class later to help with the Valentine's party. That was fun, I have missed going in there.
The best part was that night Mark and I got to go get sushi while the boys played at a friends house. Oliver tagged along with us but he slept the whole time so we hardly knew he was there. I love my man Mark and was happy to have the alone time with him.
All in all a great V-day!

Comparison

I had Oliver pose with my OB the other day at my postpartum appt. We had Sam do the same thing and it is fun to compare how big they are at this age. Oliver is a big boy and so far my chunkiest baby. My Dr. even called him "hefty"! So I pulled out Sam's picture to compare. Hard to tell with the angle but Oliver definitely looks bigger. As a sidenote, I love my Dr. I would have had a c-section for sure with most other Dr's so big shout out to him! (Notice how much his hair has grayed up in the last 4 yrs!)

Bath time

Oliver loves his bath. Evenings are a fussy time for him so he usually always gets a bath in the evening because it stops the crying. He actually is smiling a lot lately. He has two sides screaming baby and smiling baby! Mark captured him smiling the other night during bath time.

Visitors

My mom lives in Twin Falls. The rest of my family lives in Utah and Colorado. As a result of this, everyone comes to visit at my moms house and we meet them there because no one wants to drive the 2 more hours to come see us. But last week someone did!! I was so excited! My sister and sister-in-law decided to take a break from their ever so exciting visit to Twin Falls to come see us and our new baby. I think it was the new baby that really enticed them but I'll pretend it was to see me. We don't get down to Utah very often anymore so my kids don't know these cousins super well. We had one 6 year old, four 3 year olds and a baby. It was quite the adventure! We even got Mark to babysit while us girls, and Oliver of course, went to dinner. He's pretty awesome. Thanks so much for driving those dreaded two extra hours to see us Jessica and Jenny!
