Death of a shoe and envious of the boobs

RIP my favorite yellow shoes that I got on clearance during Mervyn's going out of business sale. Sure you were super uncomfortable, but you were cute and really isn't that all that matters? I can not replace you and I miss your yellow sunshine already. Note to self: when the dog is quiet, be concerned.

On another note, is it wrong that I was envious of Sam's fake boobs?

BYU photo shoot

We had to get the boys some BYU shirts and decided to pick up one for Jack as well. Since they were twinners we had to get some pictures. SOOOOO cute!

Aunt Jessica, Uncle Jason, Jaxon, Josselyn and Morgan's house!

We loved hanging out at Aunt Jessica's house. Rex knows it as Morgan's house however, apparently the dog is the only one he is interested in! Sam kept asking to go to Josselyn's house and it was ADORABLE how he said it! They had a blast, they have so many toys my kids were in heaven. It was so cute to see 5 boys and 1 little girl running around. Except for Rex, they are all so close in age.

Graduation in Utah

We headed to Utah last weekend to see my brother Ben and my sister-in-law Jessica graduate from BYU. My entire side of the family was there so we were crazy busy and non stop the whole time. The kids had a blast. Although, Rex and I are fighting sickness today, I think we wore our bodies out! Here's pics of the graduation.
The duck pond before the first of the TWO ceremonies

Rex dressing up in Ben's graduation stuff. A look into the future?? Even though I graduated from the U, if Mark has anything to do with it our kids will be going to BYU. His blood truly runs blue. Whatever. I am the only U graduate in both sides of our entire family, everyone graduated from BYU. I always was the rebel!

Rex found 4 tennis balls around the Smith Fieldhouse bushes and insisted on taking them home to Abby. The funny thing is he wouldn't let anyone help him carry them.

Aunt Jessica, blurry but graduated!

Uncle Ben's graduation. Thank goodness his last name starts with a C and he graduated with a Master's because that made him one of the FIRST of 700 something graduates! We left right after he walked, my kids were over graduation ceremonies.

I can't stop laughing!

I have always wondered what the deal is with GIGANTIC flowers on top of gorgeous little girl babies heads. Maybe it is because I don't have a girl, but honestly I think they look ridiculous. Little flowers= cute. Huge flowers= crazy mom! Anyway, I loved this post by the Mormon girl in Manhattan blog. So I really could NOT. STOP. LAUGHING. when I read this post today. Seriously this girl is hilarious. If you want a good laugh, click on the links.

Sam and Avery sittin in a tree... or is it Rex and Avery?

So, I mentioned in my last post that Avery was going to be Sam's first girlfriend, but the more Mandy and I have thought about it, her and Rex just might have to be boyfriend/girlfriend and Sam and the new baby will be boyfriend/girlfriend. Because really, guys like younger girls and girls like older boys. On that note... Avery came over today and played and the kids had a ball. First they played ring around the rosies, then Play-doh and finally some coloring on the floor. Then the best part was they went over to Mandy's and played while I went and got Mystic Tanned and ran errands. It was a good day.

I love my girls...

One of my bestest friends and funnest neighbors is having a baby soon and so it was a perfect opportunity for a girl's night and a baby shower. Plus I got to buy a cute girl outfit, who doesn't love that?! I got to make the cupcakes and had a lot of fun doing it. Mandy is so great and we have always instantly gotten along because we both are hairdressers. Her little Avery is going to be Sam's first girlfriend if I have anything to do with it! Anyway, we love their family and can't wait to meet the new addition. I am so grateful for good friends and neighbors we love, part of the reason we love living here.
Mandy had to "try on" all the outfits!

Amy, Becky and Jessica giving her "don't you dare take my picture" look. Funny thing when Rex saw this picture he said, "Sister Thomas is looking at me!!" He was so excited, he loved her as his Sunday teacher. (Oh yea and she makes AWESOME bags, check out the green tomatoes link on my sidebar! Nice plug, huh Jess?)
