Bunkbeds

We finally got these assembled and Sam was so excited we had to let him sleep in his new bed last night. I was nervous since he hasn't been out of his crib yet. I was very smart to be nervous. Bedtime was at 8:00. My little sweethearts (note the sarcasm) finally fell asleep around 10:00. That was after countless trips up the stairs, numerous threats made... including bodily harm, and 15 minutes spent screaming back in the crib. Oh the joys.

That is a really cute picture! I hope tonight is a better night! I bet the novelty will wear off soon and they will go right to sleep.
(Note to self.. keep kids confined in crib tents for life!)

So cute! We had that same problem, so I went to the library and let the kids each pick out a "book-on-tape" and they listened to it and fell asleep with no problem. Maddie and Zach shared a room in our old house when they were about that age. Now, they still listen to books and music. Zach's favorite is Delilah at night, especially now since there is Christmas music. You might give it a try.

I hope last night was a better night. I love my bunkbeds because they save space but man are they a pain in the you know what to make. Nothing like crawling on the top bunk just to get the sheets on:)

Calling supernanny stat! Just kidding. Of course they weren't going to sleep the first night in their new bunk bed.
