Walking!

Sammy is walking! He has been taking a few steps at a time for a couple of weeks but the last few days he is actually walking across the room and turning! It's so cute to watch. Go Sammy!!!!

Warm weather

We have been loving the warm weather again and have spent the last 2 nights walking. Tonight we walked to a city park they just built in the neighborhood across the street from us, it's about a mile I think so we were gone for an hour and a half! Rex has boundless energy and rode his Diego big wheel bike the whole way! Sam enjoyed chilling in the stroller.


It's supposed to get cold again on Wednesday so thank goodness we are leaving for California on Friday for 10 days!!! I am sooooooo excited!!

Baby Mama

Mark and I had the opportunity to go out on a date last night, YAY! We always love date night! We went to a yummy dinner at Texas Roadhouse, LOVE the rolls!!! Then we went to a movie I have been wanting to see, Baby Mama with Tina Fey and Amy Pohler. Oh my gosh, it was hilarious!! I highly recommend it. Here's the trailer.

Random musings

Speaking of random, all you high school friends remember how much I used to say random?

I thought I would take pictures of my entertainment center that we got in January finally. I pretty much have it all decorated so I took some pics today. I think we need a new TV, what do you think?


Rex had his friend Isaac over today for his weekly playdate and they had a great time as usual. They made "Tomato Soup" in the backyard. The ingredients were rocks, dirt and they wanted to add water but I didn't want to clean up that mess so I said no. Here's a pic of them playing.

I decided to go a little blonder since we are going to California in a week and a half. I like it, I feel like Summer. Rex took this picture so I was being goofy!

Videos of Sam

Sam loves to dance and I know I have posted a video of him dancing before but this is funny. Every time he hears music he gets his little bummy shaking! This time was pretty funny so I had to go get the camera! I'm not sure where he learned his bump and grind moves.....

This one is just him being cute. The first part his him attempting to walk. He has taken like 6 steps at once, but he kinda rebels when I ask him to do it! The next part is him cracking up, blowing kisses, talking and playing peek-a-boo! He is such a sweetheart, I just love this little boy, even though he is cutting 2 molars right now!

Grandpa comes to town

My dad came yesterday from Denver to visit and luckily we had beautiful weather today so we were able to go downtown and walk by the river. We chased ducks, threw sticks to Boykin in the river, peaked at animals in the zoo, played on the toys and enjoyed the sun. We then went to lunch and got ice cream cones. We had a great time! Rex adores all of his grandparents and makes sure he is the center of attention! They also had a great time riding on Grandpa's back. Thanks dad for visiting and loving my kids so much! Here are some of our adventures!
