Friday night we headed to Wyoming and drove as far as Lander, WY before we stopped and got a hotel room. We didn't sleep a whole lot because we got the only room left in town which was a smoking room, YUCK! But that's ok. The kids woke up bright and early so we got on the road to Yellowstone.
The kids being good on the LONG drive
It was a beautiful drive through the Wind River Reservation, we even saw a baby moose crossing the river. We got to Yellowstone around noon and met my mom, step-dad and Ben, Jessica and Jack at Old Faithful. It was beautiful and nice to get out of the car.

We saw lots of Elk but Rex really wanted to see a buffalo. We finally did on our way out of the park. He was so excited!

Looks like you had a nice time, I think we stopped at the same place and saw a buffalo, they are everywhere.
Oh we love Yellowstone. We've been meaning to take our boys when we go to IF, but never make it...we'll have to try harder!
Sam has the best face in that buffalo pic. Hilarious.
Looks like you guys had a good time in Idaho. Hope you have a Happy Birthday today!!
